Félix is seeking a proactive Data Engineering Manager to lead the data engineering squad and oversee the DBA team in a GCP-native environment. You will drive platform projects, contribute hands-on, and focus on architecture, data quality, and cost optimization.

You will champion AI-first operations while mentoring engineers and aligning data initiatives with business goals to deliver measurable impact.

Formación

• Experience leading data engineering teams and hands-on coding.
• Strong GCP expertise with BigQuery and data processing.
• Experience with dbt and Apache Flink (or Dataflow) for streaming.
• AI-native mindset and ability to scale team impact.
• Experience managing relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) without daily DBA tasks.
• Excellent communication in English; Spanish a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, scale, and mentor the data engineering team and DBA group.
• Drive infrastructure initiatives across streaming and batch data using GCP tools.
• Champion AI-first engineering practices across pipelines and data access layers.
• Ensure reliability and integration of transactional databases with analytics platform.
• Set high standards for data quality, observability, and cost optimization.
• Align pipeline development with business decisions and product goals.
