FullStack Labs, Inc. is seeking an experienced Elixir Engineer for remote engagement with Latin American teams and US clients. You will integrate with client teams, design APIs, and leverage AI tools to accelerate development.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software development, 3+ years in Elixir, and strong English. This role requires a four-year degree and ability to work 40 hours/week in a remote setting.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of Elixir development.
• Advanced English is required.
• Four-year college degree completed.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful web services and integrating APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or SQL databases.
• Experience using AI engineering tools to accelerate development.
• Ability to prompt, guide, and review AI-generated code for quality and maintainability.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development workflows and code agents.
• Experience implementing code agents to automate tasks.
• Ability to work on Agile/Scrum teams and large, complex systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Integrate directly into the client’s team and collaborate with designers and engineers daily.
• Design and implement RESTful services and APIs for scalable applications.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate development and review AI-produced code for quality.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and maintain system reliability.

The Opportunity

You will integrate directly into our client's team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience developing applications using Elixir.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful web services and integrating APIs.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL or traditional SQL databases.
• Experience using AI engineering tools such as OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or similar systems to accelerate software development.
• Ability to prompt, guide, and review AI-generated code, ensuring quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted or agentic development workflows, orchestrating, validating, and integrating model‑produced code into larger systems.
• Experience implementing code agents to automate or facilitate software engineering tasks.
• Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
• Forensic attention to detail.
• A positive mindset and a can‑do attitude.
• Experience working on Agile / Scrum teams.
• Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
