Proofpoint is hiring an Agentic AI Engineer to build and optimize our agentic platform, focusing on runtimes, MCP access, and evaluation tooling used by engineers across the company.
You will translate new models and frameworks into reusable reference implementations, collaborating with security researchers and product leads to drive adoption and best practices. This role sits at the frontier of agentic tech with fast-paced learning and shipping expectations.
Formación
- 3+ years of engineering experience with hands-on work on LLM or agentic systems.
- Solid understanding of agent runtimes, prompt and context management, memory and planning.
- Experience building services in a cloud microservices environment — AWS a plus.
Responsabilidades
- Build reference agentic applications end-to-end on Proofpoint's platform.
- Establish and document best practices for MCP integration, memory and planning.
- Design evaluation harnesses with task suites, baselines and metrics.
- Collaborate with engineers, security researchers and product tech leads to go deep on the systems you build.
- Socialize agentic patterns across the company through demos, design reviews, and guides.
