Job summary

Convoy Finance is a small accounting firm serving technology, SaaS, fintech and Web3 clients in Canada and beyond. We’re looking for an Accounting Manager who can own client work, oversee accounting across a growing portfolio and partner with founders and senior finance teams.

This role is 100% in English, remote, with a full-time independent contractor agreement. Compensation ranges from USD 2,300 to 3,000 per month, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; 5+ years of accounting experience in client-facing settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts with timely accounting and reporting.
• Oversee full-cycle accounting and month-end close, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Review work for quality, accuracy and consistency across client deliverables.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and analyses.
• Work directly with founders, CFOs and senior finance teams to answer questions.
• Coach and mentor junior accounting team members.
