The position is responsible for overseeing Quality Control sampling and analysis using modern laboratory equipment such as XRF for Slag (GGBS)/Cement grinding in a Loesche VRM cement plant.
It involves taking immediate corrective actions based on sample analysis results and sharing these results with the CCR/Production team.
The role includes evaluating the chemical properties of raw materials like Clinker, GGBS, Gypsum, etc., used in the LOESCHE VRM grinding process.
All analysis results and deviations from set specifications must be reported promptly to concerned personnel for preventive or corrective measures.
Periodic audits of sampling and testing procedures are required to ensure conformity and reliability according to set standards.
Maintaining records of all chemical and microscopic evaluations as per the plant's quality control plan and local regulatory standards is essential.
It involves reviewing quality data, analyzing results, maintaining a laboratory database, and preparing reports as per defined formats and schedules.
Implementing and following the quality manual and ISO 9000 standards is necessary.
Proper maintenance of laboratory instruments to ensure their optimal performance is required.
All sampling and analysis activities should be conducted with appropriate precautions to ensure results are within permissible accuracy limits.
Setting up the laboratory for Loesche VRM in a greenfield cement plant is part of the responsibilities.
Adherence to safety rules and policies is mandatory.
