Job summary
A logistics services provider in Dubai is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations, lead staff, and ensure efficient inventory management. The candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain and have at least 5 years of management experience in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of WMS/ERP systems is essential. This role requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Qualifications
- 5 years of warehouse management experience, preferably in FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of WMS/ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Proven leadership and decision-making abilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff; assign tasks and monitor performance.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and health & safety guidelines.
Skills
Education
- Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
- Ensure accurate inventory control and stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO)
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff; assign tasks and monitor performance
- Implement and maintain warehouse SOPs and safety standards
- Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, procurement and sales teams
- Oversee timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet delivery schedules
- Manage stock audits, cycle counts and inventory reconciliation
- Track KPIs (order accuracy, OTIF, stock loss, warehouse efficiency, etc.)
- Handle maintenance of warehouse equipment and infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and health & safety guidelines
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field
- 5 years of warehouse management experience (FMCG experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of WMS/ERP systems and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Proven leadership, planning and decision‑making skills
- Hands‑on experience with inventory control, inbound/outbound logistics
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
- Knowledge of HSE standards in warehouse operations
