A leading regional law firm is seeking a Team Leader to provide secretarial support and oversee a team of secretaries. The candidate should have extensive secretarial experience and a proven track record in managing a team. Responsibilities include supporting senior professionals, ensuring effective communication, and participating in recruitment. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years' relevant experience.
Primary Job Purpose
This role entails providing secretarial support and supervising a group of secretaries in their allocated department. The selected candidate will also oversee all day-to-day administrative, finance and operational matters per the firm's policy and procedures. Like an Executive Secretary / Secretary, the Team Leader's role is based on writing common forms of legal correspondence and helping to prepare legal documents. Secretaries assist Associates by using their thorough knowledge of how to file legal documentation and, in some cases, courtroom procedures. Team leaders help generate considerable legal content used for communication between fee earners and their clients.
