The successful candidate will be responsible for managing general accounting functions, preparing financial statements and reports, reconciling accounts, and analyzing variances. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent problem-solving skills.
- Maintain financial records and ensure accuracy of data entry
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash flow statements, and financial reports
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and standards
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Develop effective internal controls to ensure accuracy of accounting records
- Provide assistance to external audit teams during annual reviews
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
- 3+ years of experience in accounting/finance roles preferred
- Demonstrated experience with QuickBooks or similar software preferred
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
