Job Title: Land Surveyor
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Land Surveyor to join our team in El-Fujairah. The ideal candidate will have three years of experience in the land surveying field. We are open to considering foreign candidates for this position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring, mapping, and analyzing data related to land boundaries, elevations, natural features and other data as needed. The qualified professional must be able to accurately identify boundary lines according to legal documents and use modern surveying tools such as GPS systems, Total Stations or other technology.
To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Three years of experience in land surveying
- Strong knowledge of land survey principles and practices
- Ability to read and interpret maps, deeds, legal descriptions and survey plans
- Excellent math skills
- Good problem solving and analytical abilities
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
The Land Surveyor will be required to measure distances using a variety of instruments including levels, transits or theodolites; create topographical maps using AutoCAD; calculate elevation differences; provide support on environmental projects; operate data collectors or total stations; record field measurements accurately; analyze collected data with mathematical models; develop plans for construction sites; determine appropriate measurement scales; prepare reports outlining findings; consult with property owners or government agencies on boundary disputes.
