Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Sharjah is seeking a Subject Matter Expert in Optical Network Solutions to design and plan robust DWDM/OTN networks. This role requires 8–12 years of experience in optical network design and strong expertise with platforms such as Ciena, Nokia, and Huawei. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and a degree in Engineering. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead large-scale connectivity projects ensuring technical compliance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of hands-on experience with DWDM platforms.
  • Strong expertise in link budgets, BoQ preparation, and ROADM planning.
  • Good understanding of IP/Transport integration.

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end DWDM/OTN networks including span design.
  • Perform link budget analysis and feasibility studies.
  • Prepare BoQs and validate vendor solutions.
