Job summary
A leading construction management firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced architectural inspector to conduct inspections and ensure compliance with project standards. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in architecture or civil engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in large-scale projects within the UAE. Responsibilities include monitoring construction activities, reviewing submissions, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of architectural works for compliance.

- Assist in reviewing shop drawings and material submittals.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality procedures.
- Attend project meetings to discuss progress.
- Assist in final inspection and handover process.

- Identify and report any nonconformances or discrepancies and follow up on corrective actions.
- Assist in reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements related to architectural works.
- Prepare inspection reports, maintain accurate documentation, and record progress onsite.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to resolve technical and quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to local regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures.
- Attend project and coordination meetings to discuss progress and address concerns.
- Assist in the final inspection and handover process, including preparing snag lists and verifying rectification works.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural inspection on large‑scale construction projects, preferably within the UAE.
- Familiarity with building codes, construction practices, and quality control procedures.
- Proficiency in inspection tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
