Job summary
A luxury hospitality company is looking for an experienced HVAC technician to install and maintain air conditioning systems. Candidates must have over 12 years of operating experience, preferably with luxury brands, and training from a technical institute. The role includes tasks such as diagnosing faults, performing emergency repairs, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This full-time position is based in Abu Dhabi, with no remote work options.
Qualifications
- 12+ years operating experience in HVAC, preferably with luxury brands.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and departmental priorities.
- Strong commitment to teamwork and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems.
- Identify maintenance risks and diagnose faults.
- Maintain daily logs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Skills
Education
- Installing maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Cleaning adjusting and repairing systems and performing warranty services.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Providing technical direction and onthejob training.
- Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Complying with service standards work instructions and customers requirements
- Assisting with customers queries.
- Must have 12years operating experience in a similarcapacity preferably with Luxury Brand Experience
- Familiar with the operations and priorities of all other hotel operating departments.
- Must have the appropriate documented training from a technical/vocational institute
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
- Strongly committed to teamwork and customer service
