Job summary

The Next Chapter LLC is seeking a YouTube Growth & Optimization Manager to oversee growth, performance, and discoverability for two established channels: No2ta 3al Sater and UNPLUGGEDUAE. You will optimize titles, descriptions, thumbnails, and metadata, run A/B tests, and drive organic growth across views, subscribers, and watch time.

You'll analyze data in YouTube Studio, test strategies for Shorts, and report weekly insights with KPIs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands‑on experience growing YouTube channels.
• Experience with long‑form YouTube content, preferably podcasts or interview‑based channels.
• Strong understanding of YouTube's recommendation system, search, CTR, audience retention, and watch time.
• Experience with YouTube Studio, analytics, thumbnail testing, and SEO tools.

Responsibilities

• YouTube SEO: Optimize titles, descriptions, keywords, metadata, and search visibility.
• Thumbnail strategy: Develop and A/B test thumbnails to improve CTR.
• Audience retention: Analyze viewer behavior, identify drop-off points, and suggest strategies to increase watch time.
• Channel growth: Build and execute organic growth strategies to increase views, subscribers, watch time, and returning viewers.
• YouTube Analytics: Use YouTube Studio to interpret performance data and make evidence-based recommendations.

We’re looking for someone who knows how to grow YouTube channels and has the numbers to prove it.

The Next Chapter is looking for an experienced YouTube Growth & Optimization Manager to oversee the growth, performance, and discoverability of two established podcast channels: No2ta 3al Sater (نقطة ع السطر) and UNPLUGGEDUAE.

We produce long-form, conversation-driven content covering society, business, relationships, health, and contemporary issues.

Our content is already being produced and published. We need a specialist who understands how to turn quality content into sustained organic growth.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• YouTube SEO: Optimizing titles, descriptions, keywords, metadata, and search visibility.
• Thumbnail Strategy: Developing and A/B testing thumbnails and titles to improve click-through rates (CTR).
• Audience Retention: Analyzing viewer behavior, identifying drop-off points, and recommending strategies to increase average view duration.
• Channel Growth: Building and executing organic growth strategies to increase views, subscribers, watch time, and returning viewers.
• YouTube Analytics: Using YouTube Studio to interpret performance data and make evidence-based recommendations.
• Shorts Optimization: Developing strategies to maximize the reach and effectiveness of short-form clips.
• Competitor Analysis: Monitoring successful channels, emerging trends, and audience interests.
• Content Strategy: Advising on publishing schedules, episode packaging, and content positioning.
• Performance Reporting: Providing clear weekly insights and monthly growth reports with measurable KPIs.

Who We're Looking For

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands‑on experience growing YouTube channels.
• Demonstrable success with long‑form YouTube content, preferably podcasts or interview‑based channels.
• Strong understanding of the YouTube recommendation system, search discovery, CTR, audience retention, and watch time.
• Experience with YouTube Studio, analytics, thumbnail testing, and SEO tools.
• Understanding of Arabic & English‑speaking audiences and the MENA digital landscape is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable growth strategies.
• A proactive, independent professional who takes ownership of results.

What We're NOT Looking For

We are not looking for a general social media manager, video editor, or someone whose experience is limited to uploading videos, writing captions, or scheduling posts.

We need a YouTube specialist who understands channel growth from the inside out.
