Job summary

Sunreef Yachts is seeking an experienced Interior Engineering Team Leader to guide the Interior Engineering team and oversee the technical and production elements of luxury yacht interiors. The role requires coordinating with designers, production, purchasing, and clients to deliver high-quality interiors on schedule.

The candidate should have 5+ years in yacht interior engineering, strong leadership, and solid knowledge of interior outfitting, materials, and installation, with excellent English

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in yacht interior engineering or related field.
• Experience in leading a design/engineering team and coordinating across departments.
• Strong knowledge of interior outfitting, furniture production, materials, and installation.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead, organise, and coordinate the Interior Engineering team activities.
• Allocate tasks based on project priorities and team capabilities.
• Monitor progress, workload, and performance of the team.
• Review 3D models, 2D drawings, and production details before release to production.
• Translate design requirements into technically feasible and production-ready solutions.
• Maintain communication with interior designers, architects, project managers and stakeholders.
• Incorporate client and designer requirements into engineering and production processes.
• Participate in design reviews and advise on manufacturability and installation methods.
• Coordinate with workshop and production teams to ensure furniture is produced to spec.
• Monitor on-board installation of interior fittings and furniture.
