Job summary
A leading yacht manufacturer in Ras al-Khaimah is seeking a proactive Junior Material Planning Engineer to support material coordination across yacht construction. This role involves planning material requirements, preparing RFQs, and managing supplier relationships. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering along with 1-2 years in material planning or supply chain management, preferably in the marine industry. Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in material planning, procurement, or supply chain.
Experience in the marine / yacht industry is highly preferred.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong organizational skills with a structured and follow-up-driven mindset.
Responsibilities
Plan and manage material requirements based on project schedules.
Prepare RFQs to suppliers and analyze supplier quotations.
Track and follow up on orders to ensure on-time delivery.
Contribute to the improvement of material planning processes.
