Job summary

Prime Tech in Dubai is seeking a Workshop Supervisor to oversee workshop operations, prepare technicians for on-site jobs, and ensure timely communication with customers. The role requires coordinating quotes, equipment, and documentation across the workshop.

Applicants should have a Diploma or Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, at least 5 years of workshop experience, and familiarity with Caterpillar and Cummins engines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technicians for on-site jobs and note devices involved
• Guide technicians to fix faults as needed
• Prepare component lists using SIS and verify with specialists before quoting
• Monitor all workshop jobs with Solution Designer/Shop and keep customers informed
• Organize passes and ensure documentation is organized
• Coordinate subcontract jobs and ensure documents are signed on completion
• Arrange cranes, forklifts and other equipment on site or in the workshop
• Maintain workshop cleanliness (production line) and the area around equipment
• Follow up on LPOs for completed jobs

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Must have experience in Caterpillar and also Cummins Engines
