Job summary

Tiger Recruitment Ltd. UAE-based client seeks an experienced Workshop Manager / Senior Service Advisor to own day-to-day workshop operations, deliver an exceptional level of service to an international and European customer base, and lead the team when the owner is away.

This hands-on role combines workshop management, customer service, parts coordination and financial oversight, with responsibility for quotations, job cards, invoices and ensuring vehicles are handed over to exacting standards.

Qualifications

• Several years' UAE experience in automotive aftersales, workshop management or senior service advisory.
• Strong technical understanding of diagnostics, repairs and workshop operations.
• Experience leading technicians and support staff.
• Excellent English and strong customer communication skills.
• Confident dealing with demanding, high-value and international customers.
• Commercially aware with a good understanding of workshop profitability.
• Highly organised, hands-on and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Calm, professional and solutions-focused.
• Preferred: Experience with premium European brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Range Rover, Bentley or similar.
• UAE driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily workshop operation, workflow and technician allocation.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers from vehicle reception through to handover.
• Prepare and review quotations, estimates, job cards and invoices.
• Explain technical issues and repair recommendations clearly to customers.
• Keep customers updated on progress, costs and completion times.
• Lead and manage the workshop team, including staff planning and performance.
• Coordinate parts sourcing and purchasing.
• Monitor workshop costs, margins, invoicing and outstanding payments.
• Supervise the workshop's administrative/accounting function.
• Ensure vehicles are completed to a high standard before handover.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and find practical solutions.
• Identify opportunities for additional maintenance and repair work.
• Support improvements to workshop processes and overall business performance.

The successful candidate will be comfortable running the workshop independently when the owner is away.
