Job summary

Tiger Recruitment in Dubai is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager / Senior Service Advisor to own the day‑to‑day workshop operations and deliver an exceptional level of service to a predominantly international and European customer base.

This is a hands-on senior role combining workshop management, customer service, team leadership, parts coordination and financial oversight. The successful candidate will be comfortable running the workshop independently when the owner is away.

Qualifications

• Several years' UAE experience in automotive aftersales or workshop management.
• Strong technical understanding of diagnostics and repairs.
• Experience leading technicians and support staff.
• Excellent English and customer communication skills.
• Commercially aware with a good understanding of workshop profitability.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily workshop operation, workflow and technician allocation.
• Act as main contact for customers from reception to handover.
• Prepare quotations, estimates, job cards and invoices.
• Explain technical issues and repair recommendations clearly to customers.
• Keep customers updated on progress, costs and completion times.
• Lead and manage the workshop team, including staff planning.
• Coordinate parts sourcing and purchasing.
• Monitor workshop costs, invoicing and outstanding payments.
• Supervise the workshop's administrative/accounting function.
• Ensure vehicles are completed to a high standard before handover.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and find practical solutions.
• Identify opportunities for additional maintenance and repair work.
• Support improvements to workshop processes and overall business performance.

Preferred

• Experience with premium European brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Range Rover, Bentley or similar.
• Previous experience in a premium dealership or reputable independent European-car workshop is highly desirable.
