Job summary

Hope Harbor is seeking an experienced Chef – Asian / Chinese Cuisine in Abu Dhabi to lead the kitchen in delivering authentic dishes. You will work in a fast-paced restaurant, ensuring consistency and high quality across all preparations.

You will manage wok stations, oversee portion control and plating, and collaborate with front-of-house teams to provide timely, excellent service in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Asian ingredients and cooking methods.
• Experience with Chinese dishes, sauces and flavors.
• Understanding of food hygiene, safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare authentic Asian and Chinese dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
• Manage ingredient prep, cooking, plating and presentation during service.
• Operate wok stations and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain consistent taste, portion size, presentation and quality.
• Follow food hygiene, sanitation, storage and kitchen safety procedures.
• Monitor ingredients and coordinate stock to minimize wastage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned kitchen stations.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure timely food preparation.
