Job summary

Hope Harbor in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Chef – Asian / Chinese Cuisine to join a restaurant management team. You will prepare authentic Asian dishes, manage wok stations, and ensure consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation.

The role requires knowledge of Asian and Chinese cooking methods, high-volume kitchen experience, food safety standards, and ability to coordinate with service teams to deliver timely meals.

Qualifications

• Asian and Chinese cooking techniques and ingredients knowledge.
• Knowledge of wok cooking and high-temperature stir-fry methods.
• Food safety, hygiene, storage, and sanitation compliance.
• Experience working in professional restaurant kitchens.

Responsibilities

• Prepare authentic Asian and Chinese dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Manage ingredient preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation during service.
• Operate wok stations and other commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain consistent taste, portion size, presentation, and food quality.
• Follow food hygiene, sanitation, storage, and kitchen safety procedures.
• Monitor ingredients and coordinate stock requirements to minimize wastage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned kitchen stations.
