Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager to lead a 3P WHS team across quick commerce operations in the UAE and beyond. The role involves audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and driving safety culture in a fast-paced, multi-jurisdiction environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in WHS, NEBOSH certification, and strong MS Office skills to analyze safety metrics and deliver effective improvements across on-site and road operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in WHS or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications; use of pivot tables and development of charts/graphics.
• NEBOSH (National General Certificate), or A Health and Safety NVQ Level 3 or NEBOSH National General Certificate (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site visits across stores to evaluate safety conditions and provide practical recommendations.
• Perform risk assessments and safety audits for in-store and on-road operations.
• Monitor, analyze and report on safety performance metrics and incident data; identify trends and priorities.
• Develop and implement safety controls and mitigation measures for dark store layouts and rider activities.
• Lead safety meetings with operations teams and third-party partners to reinforce safety expectations.
