Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Coordinator to support vendor accommodation audits across UAE and ensure welfare and safety standards in third‑party facilities. You will lead site assessments, document findings, and develop corrective actions with vendors, while monitoring metrics and reporting trends to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of workplace health and safety or compliance auditing experience preferred.
• Comfort with frequent field travel within UAE and a valid UAE driving license or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned and ad-hoc accommodation audits across UAE vendor sites against Global Guidance and UAE regulations.
• Document audit findings and develop Corrective Action Plans with vendors.
• Track remediation progress and elevate non-responsive vendors to senior stakeholders.
• Monitor compliance metrics and generate reports to identify trends requiring attention.
