Job summary

Amazon UAE is hiring a Workplace Health and Safety Manager for its quick commerce network in Dubai. The role focuses on safety leadership across dark stores, rider operations, and last-mile delivery, with accountability for incident prevention and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of WHS experience in logistics or related environments, NEBOSH or equivalent, and strong proficiency in risk assessment, audits, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a WHS focus.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive workplace health and safety experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or similar operations.
• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Strong leadership and incident investigation capabilities.
• Ability to manage safety across facility-based and road operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead WHS management for quick commerce operations and riders.
• Develop and implement risk controls for dark stores and on-road safety.
• Conduct regular safety audits and incident investigations.
• Monitor safety metrics and report trends to regional teams.
• Provide safety training and coach the WHS team and partners.
• Collaborate with operations to embed safety in daily decisions.
