Job summary

Qualifications

• A Health and Safety NVQ Level 3 or NEBOSH National General Certificate (or equivalent).
• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or Engineering/Science.
• Experience in safety metrics reports and data analysis to identify problems.
• Experience in English-language communication, both written and verbal.
• Travel up to 20%.
• 1 year of demonstrating safety standards experience.
• Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience working independently and in a team.
• Strong ability to communicate across stakeholders via presentations and written communications.

As our 3rd party operations continue to evolve in a demanding work environment we are seeking a dedicated Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Officer to support our partners in managing health and safety risks and employee wellbeing. The ideal candidate will put safety standards into practice lead projects to raise safety awareness and support managements efforts to ensure compliance with all program expectations and applicable regulations. With your proactive approach you will help drive a safety culture by conducting regular audits managing safety metrics and providing guidance on safety-related processes across our 3rd party operations. You will play a crucial advisory role for managers helping investigate accidents near misses and incidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.

Key job responsibilities

About the team
