Whole School Physical Education Teacher – GEMS Metropole School Al Waha – Dubai, UAE. GEMS Metropole School Al Waha is seeking a motivated and dedicated Whole School Physical Education Teacher to join its team from August 2026. This role offers an excellent opportunity to deliver high‑quality physical education across all phases within a modern British curriculum school in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality Physical Education lessons across all school phases.
• Teach academic Physical Education at secondary level and support examination pathways.
• Plan, assess, and report on student progress in line with curriculum expectations.
• Promote positive attitudes toward health, wellbeing, and active lifestyles.
• Coach and support extracurricular sports in at least one core sporting discipline.
• Organise and support whole‑school sporting events, competitions, and sports days.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support whole‑school initiatives and student development.
• Engage with parents and the wider school community as required.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor of Education or Bachelor’s degree with PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Specialism in Physical Education or sports‑related discipline.
• Experience teaching Physical Education across multiple age groups.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Passion for student wellbeing, physical development, and inclusive education.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
