Role Summary
The WFM Platform Engineering Lead is responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining production‑grade services, automations, and data pipelines within the WFM scope. The role reduces cycle time, improves sourcing quality, strengthens security and reliability, and delivers actionable operational insights to WFM stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Own engineering delivery of WFM platforms and system integrations supporting sourcing workflows
- Automate repetitive WFM tasks including validation, deduplication, interview panel assignment, calendar synchronization, and approvals
- Leverage LLM‑assisted coding to accelerate development while ensuring secure human‑reviewed code
- Maintain and optimise data pipelines, reconciliation processes, and reporting dashboards
- Design and implement enhancements to improve sourcing quality using analytics and AI techniques
- Build and operate scalable backend services using event‑driven and distributed system architectures
- Ensure strong security, privacy, and PII compliance across HR and WFM data flows
- Provide real‑time operational visibility through monitoring and dashboards
- Continuously improve reliability, performance, and maintainability of WFM services
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- 8-12 years experience in software engineering within enterprise environments
- At least 4 years experience building HR or WFM platforms or similar workflow and intake systems
- Strong backend engineering skills using Java with Spring Boot and/or Node.js with TypeScript
- Experience designing distributed systems, service‑based architectures, and enterprise integrations
- Hands‑on experience operating production services at scale
- Practical experience using LLM tools such as Claude in secure engineering workflows
- Deep understanding of HR and WFM technology stacks and sourcing lifecycle processes
- Strong knowledge of security, privacy, and PII compliance in regulated environments
