Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim is seeking a strategic Manager - People and Organisation in Dubai to partner with senior leaders on workforce planning, talent development and Emiratization. The role focuses on aligning people initiatives with business priorities and strengthening organisational performance across functions.

You will guide HR programmes, oversee performance management, and drive data-driven decisions using analytics and digital tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR or related field.
  • Minimum eight years of experience in Human Resources or People and Organisation functions.
  • Significant experience as HR Business Partner or advisory role supporting varied business units.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labour laws, employment practices and HR policies.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and execute People and Organisation strategies aligned with commercial priorities and organisational goals.
  • Advise managers and employees on policies, procedures, organisational changes, and employee lifecycle matters.
  • Ensure consistent application of human resources frameworks across assigned business areas.
  • Support workforce planning by analysing headcount, capability requirements, organisational structures, and future talent needs.
  • Produce evidence-based recommendations using workforce data, performance indicators, and business trends.
  • Guide talent reviews, succession planning, career development, and high-potential employee identification.
  • Coordinate performance management activities, including objective setting, review cycles, calibration and development planning.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives and help business units respond to feedback with practical improvement plans.
  • Support annual salary planning and other people processes in coordination with relevant specialist teams.
  • Work with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers on recruitment priorities, selection, onboarding and workforce integration.
  • Improve the employee experience throughout recruitment, onboarding, development, movement and exit processes.
  • Manage workforce transition and organisational change programmes through structured plans, governance, communication, risk controls and stakeholder coordination.
  • Ensure transition activities meet policy, compliance, documentation, and employee communication requirements.
  • Support Shared Services Center operations and contribute to broader HR transformation initiatives.
  • Drive Emiratization plans by strengthening Emirati talent attraction, development, progression, engagement and retention.
  • Monitor Emiratization performance, compliance requirements, workforce targets and related people indicators.
  • Provide leadership teams with clear updates on workforce risks, talent gaps, employee matters and proposed solutions.
  • Apply digital platforms, artificial intelligence and analytical tools to improve people decisions and operational efficiency.
  • Promote accountability, inclusion, trust, resilience, customer focus, innovation and effective change leadership.

Role Context

The Manager - People and Organisation will act as a strategic partner to business leaders while ensuring that people programmes support operational objectives, cultural priorities, and long‑term growth.
