Job summary

AECOM in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer – Wet Utilities to join our project team. You will work on wet utility infrastructure works, including stormwater, sewerage and potable water networks, coordinating with contractors and authorities.

Lead supervision of pipelines, manholes and drainage structures while ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and ITPs, and supporting multidisciplinary coordination across roads, electrical, telecom and landscaping

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience in infrastructure and wet utilities construction.
• Knowledge of stormwater, sewerage and potable water networks.
• Experience in construction supervision, inspection, and coordination with Contractors.
• Familiarity with drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, and technical submissions.
• Experience on major infrastructure projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise wet utility infrastructure works including stormwater drainage, sewerage, potable water, irrigation and networks.
• Oversee construction activities including pipelines, manholes, catch basins, gullies and drainage structures.
• Ensure construction works follow approved drawings, specifications, ITPs and project requirements.
• Review Contractor submissions, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and RFIs.
• Monitor site progress, quality, workmanship and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with Contractor, Authorities and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Monitor testing and inspections of wet utility networks and approvals.
• Identify risks and coordinate corrective actions with the project team.
• Coordinate interfaces with roads, structures, electrical, telecom and other services.
• Maintain records of inspections and construction activities.
• Participate in site meetings and technical coordination discussions.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental and quality requirements on site.
