Black Pearl Consult in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Water Network Planning Engineer to ensure efficient, reliable, and sustainable delivery of water services through planning, simulation, and long-term infrastructure management.

The role focuses on developing and optimizing distribution networks, conducting master plans and hydraulic models, and leveraging AMI/SCADA data to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 4–8 years of experience in water network planning, asset management, or hydraulic modeling.
• Strong technical knowledge of water distribution systems, hydraulic principles, and infrastructure design.
• Proficiency in network simulation tools and exposure to AMI/SCADA applications in water systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize the water distribution network to meet current and future demand.
• Lead the preparation of master plans, feasibility studies, and hydraulic simulations for new and existing networks.
• Conduct network modeling using tools such as EPANET, WaterGEMS, or InfoWorks to assess and enhance system performance.
• Support the implementation of asset management strategies to improve network reliability and longevity.
• Utilize AMI and network operations data for performance optimization and proactive planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams on rehabilitation plans, project coordination, and long-term capacity forecasting.
