Job summary

ILF Consulting Engineers in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to lead water transmission and distribution projects from Abu Dhabi head office. You will supervise pipelines, pumping stations, and reservoirs, performing hydraulic modelling and coordinating with authorities and clients.

The role requires 15+ years of relevant experience, B.Sc/M.Sc in Civil Engineering, and proficiency with InfoWorks WS, WaterGEMS, and Bentley HAMMER.

Qualifications

B.Sc or M.Sc in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 15 years of experience in water transmission, water distribution, sewerage networks, and pumping systems.
Experience with large scale water transmission projects (DN1200 pipelines, pumping stations, reservoirs).
Proven ability in hydraulic modelling and surge analysis for water and wastewater systems.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and coordination for water infrastructure projects.
Perform hydraulic analysis and modelling for water and wastewater systems.
Lead design development and review across feasibility to tender stages.
Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and cost estimates.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and interfaces with clients and authorities.
Support procurement and construction with technical clarifications and value engineering.
Contribute to proposals, staffing plans, and project scheduling.
Prepare design documentation and reports.
