MTQ Engineering LLC - UAE is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, supervise the team, and ensure safe, accurate handling of stock and goods.

You will coordinate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch, maintain stock records and cycle counts, and drive efficiency and safety across the site. The role demands strong leadership and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in warehouse supervision, warehouse operations, logistics, or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
  • Good knowledge of warehouse procedures, stock control, inventory management, receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch operations.
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Good understanding of health and safety, manual handling, and warehouse safety procedures.
  • Experience using warehouse management systems, inventory software, POS systems, or other stock management systems is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in relation to stock accuracy, documentation, orders, and deliveries.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to train, motivate, and support warehouse staff effectively.
  • Physically fit and able to assist with lifting, moving, loading, and unloading goods when required.
  • Proactive, reliable, responsible, and results-driven attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with other departments.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
  • Experience operating or supervising the use of forklifts or other warehouse equipment is an advantage, where applicable.
  • Relevant qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, Business, or a related field are an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched efficiently.
  • Lead, supervise, motivate, and support warehouse staff to maintain high standards of productivity and performance.
  • Prepare staff schedules, allocate duties, and manage staffing levels according to operational requirements.
  • Coordinate goods receiving, unloading, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
  • Ensure all incoming and outgoing goods are checked accurately against orders, delivery notes, and relevant documentation.
  • Maintain accurate stock records, inventory levels, and warehouse documentation.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and inventory checks, investigating and reporting discrepancies.
  • Ensure products are stored correctly, safely, and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Monitor stock rotation, expiry dates, damaged goods, returns, and wastage where applicable.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, retail, kitchen, delivery, sales, and management teams to ensure smooth stock movement and operations.
  • Organise warehouse space to maximise efficiency, accessibility, cleanliness, and safe working conditions.
  • Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment, tools, and material-handling equipment, reporting faults or maintenance requirements promptly.
  • Ensure all goods are handled, packed, labelled, and prepared correctly for delivery or collection.
  • Monitor team productivity, attendance, performance, and compliance with warehouse procedures.
  • Train, coach, and support warehouse staff on operational procedures, equipment use, health and safety, and company standards.
  • Ensure high standards of warehouse cleanliness, housekeeping, security, and organisation.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, manual handling, fire safety, and workplace regulations.
  • Investigate operational issues, stock discrepancies, delivery problems, and other warehouse-related incidents.
  • Prepare and review stock, inventory, receiving, dispatch, productivity, and operational reports as required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, stock accuracy, workflow, and cost control.
  • Take responsibility for warehouse performance, stock accuracy, team supervision, safety, and operational standards.
