Job summary

NMC in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Warehouse/Stores Supervisor to oversee daily store and warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, and issuing materials.

You will ensure compliance with purchase orders, BOMs, ERP records, and FIFO/FEFO where applicable, supervise store personnel, and coordinate with Procurement, Operations, and Finance to meet stock requirements and delivery schedules.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in stores, warehouse, inventory, or logistics operations.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily store and warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, and issuing materials.
  • Ensure materials are issued only against authorized requests.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Finance, and other departments regarding stock requirements and deliveries.
  • Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, damaged, and expired stock and report accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP/system and ensure timely updates.
  • Prepare periodic inventory and operational reports for management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve store efficiency, inventory accuracy, and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

Job description

  • Supervise daily store and warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, and issuing materials.


  • Ensure all incoming goods are checked against purchase orders, delivery notes, and required specifications.


  • Maintain proper storage, labeling, identification, and organization of stock.


  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability.


  • Conduct regular stock counts and physical inventory checks.


  • Investigate and report stock discrepancies, damages, shortages, and excess inventory.


  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP/system and ensure timely updates.


  • Prepare and process material requisitions, goods received notes, stock transfer notes, and issue vouchers as required.


  • Ensure materials are issued only against authorized requests.


  • Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Finance, and other departments regarding stock requirements and deliveries.


  • Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, damaged, and expired stock and report accordingly.


  • Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.


  • Supervise and allocate tasks to storekeepers, warehouse assistants, and other store personnel.


  • Ensure employees follow company procedures, housekeeping standards, and health and safety requirements.


  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storage area.


  • Ensure proper handling and storage of fragile, hazardous, temperature-sensitive, or high-value materials where applicable.


  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate inventory records and documentation.


  • Prepare periodic inventory and operational reports for management.


  • Identify opportunities to improve store efficiency, inventory accuracy, and cost control.


  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.


  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
