Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities in the UAE, ensuring accuracy and safety. You will lead a team, manage inventory using WMS, and coordinate order fulfillment with cross‑functional staff.

The role requires 1–2 years in warehousing with WMS experience, forklift operation skills, and strong attention to detail. A high school diploma and good communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; vocational cert is a plus.
• 1–2 years in a warehouse with WMS experience.
• Familiar with receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping processes.
• Proficient in WMS and related software; strong data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain records.
• Good communication and teamwork, with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
• Accurately receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments using the WMS system ensuring items match PO and are damage-free.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with strict quality control to minimize errors.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move and store inventory.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS with cycle counts and report discrepancies.
• Utilize WMS to track inventory, identify slow movers, and optimize space.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff and other departments to coordinate workflows and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Perform data entry in the WMS, update product information, and generate reports.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks to prevent damage during transportation.
• Identify and suggest improvements to warehouse processes to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Schedule and oversee warehouse team to maximize throughput and minimize overtime.
• Meet with leads to analyze productivity and plan loss prevention actions.
• Oversee logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, coordinating with drivers.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
• Accurately receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments using the WMS system ensuring all items match purchase orders and are free of damage.
• Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment adhering to strict quality control measures and minimizing errors to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and proficiently to move and store inventory within designated locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the WMS conducting regular cycle counts and promptly reporting discrepancies to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Utilize the WMS to track inventory levels, identify slow-moving items, and optimize warehouse space utilization for improved efficiency.
• Collaborate with other warehouse staff and departments to coordinate workflows, resolve issues, and ensure smooth and timely order fulfillment.
• Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents and promote workplace safety.
• Perform data entry tasks within the WMS including updating product information, entering receiving details, and generating reports.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks ensuring proper handling of goods and preventing damage during transportation.
• Proactively identify and suggest improvements to warehouse processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
• Schedule and oversee warehouse team and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
• Meet regularly with warehouse leads to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention.
• Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (a relevant vocational certificate is a plus).
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse environment with WMS experience.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, including receiving, put‑away, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software.
• Strong computer skills, including data entry, report generation, and basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to maintain organized records.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50lbs) and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Three or more years of experience in a warehouse role managing hourly employees.
• Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and leadership qualities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff.
• Ability to deliver effective feedback, written and verbal.
