The role requires 1–2 years in a UAE warehouse, physical stamina, clean English communication, and ability to work well in a team. Company-provided accommodation and visa may be offered.

Job Purpose

We are seeking a physically fit, detail-oriented, and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our growing furniture and decor team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling high-quality furniture pieces, home decor items, and accessories. You will ensure safe loading, unloading, assembly, and inventory management while maintaining an organized and safe warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving & Unloading: Unload incoming shipments of furniture, materials, and decor items from containers and delivery trucks.
• Quality & Damage Control: Inspect incoming items for scratches, defects, or transport damage and report discrepancies immediately.
• Inventory Management: Organize, stack, and store furniture items safely in designated warehouse zones using appropriate labeling and racking systems.
• Order Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, wrap, and pack furniture and decor pieces for customer deliveries, showroom displays, or e-commerce orders.
• Assembly & Preparation: Safely unbox, assemble, and prepare furniture items for quality checks or customer delivery as required.
• Loading Support: Assist in loading delivery vehicles safely, ensuring items are secured tightly to prevent damage during transit.
• Safety & Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and compliant with UAE health and safety regulations at all times.
• Stock Counts: Participate in routine cycle counts and annual stock-taking activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working in a warehouse environment in the UAE. Experience handling furniture, home appliances, or fragile decor items is highly preferred.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy furniture pieces, bend, stand for long hours, and perform strenuous physical labor daily.
• Languages: Good communication skills in English (verbal and written). Knowledge of Hindi, Urdu, or Malayalam is a plus.
• Skills: Familiarity with warehouse tools, hand tools for furniture assembly, and basic inventory scanning devices.
• Teamwork: Strong team player with a positive attitude and a high level of punctuality.
• Visa Status: Candidates on a transferable visa or cancelled visa currently residing in the UAE are preferred.
