SHANDONG TAIJIAN INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTI in Dubai seeks an experienced Curtain Wall Engineer to manage technical and site coordination for glazing, curtain walls, and facade packages on high-rise and mid-rise projects in the UAE. The role requires reading drawings, coordinating with consultants and subcontractors, supervising installation, and ensuring compliance with UAE codes and standards.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is expected; BIM knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural/Facade Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with windows, glazing, curtain wall and facade systems.
• Strong reading and interpretation of architectural/shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical execution of aluminum windows, curtain walls, and facade works.
• Review drawings, shop drawings, fabrication drawings; resolve site issues.
• Coordinate with Employer, Client, Main Contractor, Design Consultant, and suppliers.
• Provide on-site supervision, inspections, and rectify issues; support testing and handover.

About the Role

We are a Dubai-based construction company seeking experienced strong Curtain Wall Engineers strong to manage technical and site coordination for glazing window and facade packages across high-rise and mid-rise projects in the UAE

Key Responsibilities

Manage the technical execution of aluminum windows glass curtain walls aluminum panel cladding and associated external envelope works Review architectural drawings curtain wall shop drawings fabrication drawings and detail node drawings resolve site technical issues promptly Prepare and track Material Submittals Method Statements Requests for Information RFIs and other technical documentation required for consultant consultant-of-record approval Coordinate among the Employer Client Main Contractor Design Consultant facade subcontractors suppliers and installation crews driving drawing approvals material procurement fabrication and site installation Provide on-site technical supervision conduct installation quality inspections monitor progress and manage rectification works Support facade performance testing air water tightness site mock-up tests field water tests per ASTM E1105 where applicable inspections snag resolution variations claims documentation as-built records and final handover Contribute to material selection detail optimization cost control and variation management Ensure all works comply with the project specification approved drawings relevant quality standards ASTM EN British Standards and applicable UAE codes and local authority requirements Dubai Municipality Abu Dhabi DoM civil defense requirements as applicable Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Construction, Architectural Engineering, Façade Engineering, or a related discipline.Minimum 3 years of experience in the windows, glazing, and curtain wall industry; 5+ years with high-rise façade project experience strongly preferred.Solid knowledge of stick-built and unitized curtain wall systems, structural glazing, aluminum panel cladding, aluminum windows/doors, and typical façade node detailing Able to independently read and review construction drawings, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical specifications; familiar with façade installation sequencing and site construction processes Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of Revit/BIM or façade structural calculation software is an advantage UAE or GCC project experience strongly preferred — familiarity with local material approval, consultant review, site acceptance, and testing procedures is highly valued Strong communication and coordination skills, sense of ownership, and proven ability to handle site issues under pressure Working English proficiency (written and verbal) — able to handle English technical documents, emails, and meetings.
