Job summary

Pavico Aluminium & Metals is seeking an experienced facade project leader to oversee technical and site execution from kickoff through handover in Dubai. You will review IFC/shop/architectural drawings, coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and suppliers, and resolve on-site installation constraints.

The role requires strong reading of technical drawings, expertise in ACP/aluminium cladding, curtain walls and glazing, and proven leadership of installation teams in UAE/GCC projects.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in civil/architectural/structural/mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of facade engineering experience with UAE/GCC project exposure.
• Strong ability to read IFC/shop/architectural/structural drawings and technical specs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; MS Project/Primavera is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and site execution of facade projects from start to handover.
• Review and coordinate IFC, shop, structural, architectural drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and client reps.
• Provide technical solutions for on-site issues and installation constraints.
• Monitor fabrication, procurement, delivery, installation, and site progress.
• Supervise site engineers, supervisors, foremen and installation teams.
• Coordinate QA/QC inspections, snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover.

Job description

Lead the technical and site execution of facade projects from commencement through completion and handover Review and coordinate IFC drawings shop drawings structural drawings architectural drawings specifications and facade details Manage facade works including ACP cladding aluminium cladding curtain wall glazing louvers aluminium doors windows metal works and associated steel structures Coordinate with consultants main contractors subcontractors suppliers and client representatives Review and coordinate shop drawings material submittals samples method statements ITPs RFIs MIRs WIRs and other project documentation Provide technical solutions for site issues clashes dimensional discrepancies access problems and installation constraints Monitor fabrication material procurement delivery installation and site progress Ensure correct levels dimensions alignment tolerances brackets anchors fixing systems joints sealants and finishing Supervise and guide site engineers supervisors foremen and installation teams Monitor project progress against approved schedules and ensure timely completion of facade activities Coordinate with the production and fabrication teams to ensure materials are manufactured according to approved drawings and specifications Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate with QA QC teams for inspections and approvals Identify defective or non-conforming works and ensure timely rectification Coordinate snagging final inspections testing commissioning where applicable and project handover Prepare and review daily weekly and monthly progress reports Monitor material quantities wastage productivity manpower and installation output Assist in variation claims quantity measurements BOQ verification and additional works Attend technical and progress meetings with clients consultants and contractors Ensure all works comply with approved method statements project specifications quality requirements and HSE procedures Take responsibility for resolving technical and execution issues and maintaining project progress

Required Qualifications

ExperienceBachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Architectural Engineering Structural Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field 5 10 years of experience in facade engineering preferably with UAE GCC project experience Strong experience in ACP aluminium facade curtain wall glazing louvers aluminium works and steel support structures Proven experience managing facade projects and site installation teams Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings IFC drawings architectural drawings structural drawings and technical specifications Good knowledge of facade installation systems brackets anchors sealants insulation waterproofing and finishing Strong knowledge of MIR WIR RFI material submittals method statements ITPs and QA QC procedures Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office Knowledge of MS Project or Primavera is an advantage Strong project coordination leadership problem-solving and communication skills Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines Valid UAE driving license is preferred required UAE GCC facade project experience is highly preferred
