Job summary

Anantara Hotels & Resorts Desert Islands Resort & Spa on Abu Dhabi’s remote Desert Islands location seeks a Waitress responsible for delivering prompt, professional food and beverage service to guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience. You will work with colleagues across departments to maintain service standards and promote the hotel’s offerings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in Food & Beverage service, hospitality, restaurant, or hotel operations is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures.
• Ability to learn and operate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
• Strong customer service orientation with a professional appearance and attitude.
• Good command of spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Willingness to work in a remote island location and adapt to a multicultural hospitality environment.

• Maintain assigned workstations and service areas in accordance with hotel standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security procedures at all times.
• Protect guest privacy and confidentiality when entering guest rooms and delivering room service.
• Participate actively in training and development programs to enhance service quality and professional skills.
• Support operational requirements and carry out additional duties assigned by management to achieve guest satisfaction.
