Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara, part of Anantara Hotels & Resorts, seeks a friendly Waitress to deliver prompt, professional dining service on a remote island off Abu Dhabi. You will ensure a memorable guest experience and support across departments to uphold service standards.

The role requires good English, teamwork, and a professional appearance. Experience in hospitality is preferred; training and development opportunities are offered.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in Food & Beverage service or hospitality is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures.
• Ability to learn and operate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
• Strong customer service orientation with a professional appearance and attitude.
• Good command of spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.

• Provide professional, friendly, and efficient food and beverage service to guests at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth and timely service delivery.
• Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, grooming standards, and service standards.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and menus to assist guests effectively.
• Accurately take orders and operate the POS system in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain assigned workstations and service areas in accordance with hotel standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security procedures at all times.
• Protect guest privacy and confidentiality when entering guest rooms and delivering room service.
• Participate actively in training and development programs to enhance service quality and professional skills.
• Support operational requirements and carry out additional duties assigned by management to achieve guest satisfaction.
