Job summary

Discovered MENA in Dubai seeks a Vice President of PR and Communications to lead the corporate communications function, shaping messaging for internal and external audiences and elevating the organisation's global visibility across financial markets.

You will drive thought leadership, oversee media outreach, social channels, and content, mentor teams, and partner with senior leadership to safeguard brand reputation and deliver integrated communication strategies across regional and international

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of progressive marketing communications experience, including at least 4 years in a management role within a major organisation.
• Proven expertise in content creation, media outreach, and strategic messaging across global and regional markets.
• Strong capability in web analytics and data driven campaign performance tracking.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with fluency in Arabic preferred; able to advise executive leadership and lead creative teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee overarching internal and external communications strategies that align with broader business and destination objectives
• Oversee day to day operations across external PR, internal employee communications, social media channels, and content creation
• Build and maintain messaging architectures, content mixes, and official spokespeople matrices for senior executives
• Drive global thought leadership initiatives, including op eds, feature stories, white papers, speeches, and industry commentaries; establish strong media relations with leading publications
• Guide, mentor, and direct internal communications managers, social media teams, copywriters, and external agencies
• Establish performance key performance metrics and use web analytics tools to continuously audit and refine campaign reach and engagement
• Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all corporate documentation, presentations, press releases, and digital channels
