Job summary

The Visual Merchandiser at Al-Futtaim Retail is responsible for ensuring the store’s visual expression aligns with IKEA’s standards. You will plan creative display solutions, coordinate with teams, and maintain high presentation standards to reflect the IKEA brand.

Collaborating with the Interior Designer and Sales teams, you’ll implement displays that support commercial activities while ensuring cost-effective, safe, and compliant solutions across the store.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 3–5 years of experience in retail interior design or visual merchandising.
• Ability to visualize, design and communicate home furnishing/retail solutions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the execution of accessory shops, shop windows, activity podiums, perimeter breaks, self-serve displays.
• Ensure the integrity of the IKEA concept and brand by adhering to manuals for home furnishing solutions.
• Collaborate with the 1st Interior Designer to align displays with commercial activities.
• Work with Sales and In-Store Logistics to implement projects and sales methods.
• Support the planning and implementation of the store's commercial calendar.
• Ensure displays are cost-effective, safe and compliant with local legislation.
• Maintain knowledge of home furnishing solutions in the local market.
