Job summary

Al-Futtaim Retail is seeking a Visual Merchandiser for IKEA in Dubai to ensure store visuals meet brand standards and drive customer inspiration. You will plan and execute displays for shop windows, accessory shops, and promotional areas while coordinating with the Interior Designer and Sales teams.

The role requires a degree in interior design or architecture and 3–5 years in retail interior design or visual merchandising, with strong attention to aesthetics and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 3–5 years of experience in retail interior design or visual merchandising.
• Ability to visualize and communicate home furnishing and retail solutions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate accessory shops, shop windows, activity podiums and displays.
• Maintain IKEA concept integrity following manuals for home furnishing solutions.
• Collaborate with the 1st Interior Designer to align displays with commercial activities.
• Work with Sales and In-Store Logistics to implement projects and sales activities.
• Support planning and execution of the store’s commercial calendar.
• Ensure displays are cost-effective, safe and compliant with local laws.
• Maintain knowledge of local home furnishing solutions and trends.
