Job summary

IKEA Dubai is seeking an Interior Designer to enhance the showroom with compliant displays and inspiring home furnishing solutions. You will plan, design, and present ideas that reflect IKEA standards and brand vision.

Responsibilities include planning in-house projects, maintaining interiors and displays, inspecting the showroom daily, supporting commercial calendar activities, and collaborating with Visual Merchandisers to create room sets that delight customers and drive sales.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Interior Designing or Architecture.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a relevant area.
• Strong drafting, space planning, interior and architectural design skills.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and home furnishing trends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning in-house projects and prepare drawings and perspectives according to IKEA Concept.
• Implement and maintain all interiors and displays in the showroom.
• Conduct daily inspections of the showroom and ensure damages are corrected immediately.
• Support the planning and implementation of the store's commercial calendar.
• Maintain all areas in the store in accordance with IKEA standards.
• Follow IKEA manuals to produce functional home furnishing solutions within the store.
• Get involved in other projects relating to activities in the store as needed.
• Assist Visual Merchandisers as required in store projects or activities.
• Show customers the extension of range coordination and ideas for different rooms.
• Plan and decorate room sets to be inspirational for customers and offer home furnishing solutions.
