Job summary

BNY is seeking a Vice President, Ops Client Service II to join our Abu Dhabi team. This senior role focuses on resolving complex client issues in Corporate Actions, Income, Proxy and Class Action events for major clients, and leading a team to deliver top-tier service.

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, with preference for operational or client services background. The role requires strong problem solving, extensive product knowledge, and the ability to identify expansion

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Experience in an operational area and/or client services preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of the full lifecycle of Corporate Actions, Income, Proxy and Class Action events.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex day-to-day issues for external clients related to Corporate Actions, Income, Proxy and Class Action events.
• Lead team members to support major clients and ensure requests are executed.
• Apply advanced problem solving and judgement to analyze information.
• Deliver high-quality service using masterful communication with a specialized client base.
• Provide clients with information on BNY products and services across geographies.
• Lead business development efforts using knowledge of client issues and needs.
• Propose expanded offerings to clients for front office consideration.

Job Description:

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Ops Client Service II to join our team. This role is located in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

In this role you will make an impact in the following way:

• Works with external clients to resolve the most complex day-to-day issues related to Corporate Actions, Income, Proxy and Class Action events and direct them to appropriate resources at BNY.
• Leads team members in providing support to major clients whose partnership with BNY may have a broad impact on the business in addressing and resolving complex operational and technical issues and ensuring requests are executed.
• Applies advanced problem solving skills, judgement, and extensive experience to analyse information.
• Uses masterful communication skills to deliver high quality service to a specialized client base.
• Provides key individuals at assigned clients information related to BNY products and services representing a broad array of lines of business and geographies and leverages an expert understanding of broader BNY services and offerings.
• Uses extensive knowledge of client issues and needs to lead business development efforts.
• Uses expert understanding of BNY products and services to best propose expanded offerings to clients for front office consideration.
• Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Experience in an operational area and/or client services preferred.
• Extensive Knowledge and understanding of the full lifecycle of Corporate Actions, Income, Proxy and Class Action events.
