Job summary

Mesco Marine seeks an experienced Vessel Operations Coordinator to join its marine operations team in the UAE. You will coordinate vessel operations from pre-arrival to sailing, managing berthing, ETAs, permits, and port formalities while liaising with owners, masters, and authorities.

You will ensure accurate daily vessel updates, prepare operational reports, handle PDA/FDA/DA documents, and assist with billing and vendor invoices. UAE port knowledge is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Hands-on vessel coordination experience in shipping/port operations.
• Experience coordinating port formalities and husbandry services.
• Strong English communication, including emails to masters and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vessel operations from nomination to sailing.
• Track ETA/ETB, berthing, shifting, ETD and sailing updates.
• Arrange pre-arrival documents, permits, clearances, port formalities.
• Coordinate with port authorities, terminals, customs and coast guard.
• Arrange crew change, launch boats, transport, hotels, and stores.
• Prepare daily vessel updates, reports, and billing-related documents.
• Support with PDA/FDA/DA documentation and vendor invoices.
