The Role

Serve as a Security Screening Officer responsible for implementing vertiport security measures, performing passenger and baggage screening, and ensuring secure access control in close collaboration with external aviation security authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Security Operations:
  • Conduct routine aviation security checks
  • Control access to designated secure areas
  • Operate security screening equipment
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement for physical searches and interventions
• Screening Activities:
  • Assist passenger and baggage security screening
  • Report security screening issues to appropriate authorities
  • Maintain security protocols and procedures
• Records & Response:
  • Respond to terminal security alarms and emergencies
  • Assist in terminal evacuation procedures
  • Support emergency response team activities
• Facility Support:
  • Support terminal facilities management
  • Assist other vertiport staff as required
  • Maintain RFFS equipment as part of emergency response duties

About You

• Security screening experience preferred
• Knowledge of aviation security procedures
• Attention to detail and integrity
• Ability to work in sensitive security environment
• Physical fitness for emergency response duties
• Valid security clearance (or ability to obtain)
