Job summary

Deliveroo Hop UAE, based in Dubai, is seeking a Vendor / Category Manager to steer category performance, manage supplier relationships, and lead contract negotiations. The role operates from our Dubai office (DIFC) with a hybrid model—three days in-office—and reports to the Senior Vendor Manager.

You will drive range, pricing, promotions, and merchandising while collaborating with internal teams to foster growth and deliver a best-in-class grocery experience on the Deliveroo Hop platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in vendor/category management or buying (grocery experience a plus).
• Analytical mindset to evaluate vendor and category performance and identify improvements.
• Good negotiation skills and ability to build strong partnerships with vendors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage category performance and shape category strategy with range, pricing, negotiations and promotions.
• Support Vendor Management Lead in product selection and pricing aligned with Deliveroo Hop CVP.
• Ensure the right SKUs are nominated for effective promotional campaigns and events.
• Monitor SKU performance and optimise the range; drive growth and efficiency.
• Develop and manage relationships with local and international grocery suppliers; negotiate contracts for favourable terms.
• Analyse vendor performance and take corrective actions; ensure regulatory compliance and issue resolution.
