Job summary

Emerson seeks a Product Engineer to design and develop engineered-to-order valve solutions that improve performance and deliver tangible value to customers. You will support customized configurations, maintain engineering documentation, and collaborate with global cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements across product platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Industrial Design or Aerospace).
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience within Flow Controls or the valve industry.
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and related calculations.
• Working knowledge of GD&T principles.
• Experience with castings, forgings, machining, welding and stampings.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Sales, Marketing and Manufacturing teams with clear communication.
• Lead and support product-related projects aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
• Review, evaluate and validate customer quotations including material selection and application details.
• Interpret customer specifications and perform related engineering calculations and 2D/3D drawings and BOM preparation.
• Deliver technical support throughout the valve lifecycle including sizing, selection, manufacturing, procurement and field service.
