Job Description

The UX/UI Designer will be responsible for supporting the UX/UI Manager in crafting intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance user experience across our digital platforms. This role requires a creative and analytical individual to collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform user needs and business requirements into innovative design solutions.

The designer will play a key role in ensuring our products are not only functional but also engaging and accessible to our diverse user base.

Responsibilities

Functional Roles and Responsibilities

• User Research and Analysis: Conduct user research, analyze feedback, and interpret data to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Design Strategy: Develop and implement design strategies that align with business goals and enhance user satisfaction.
• Innovation and Trends: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure the application of best practices in UX/UI design.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs align with the company’s brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all platforms.
• Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
• UI Design: Design engaging and responsive user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with project requirements.
• Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and creative team environment, encouraging the sharing of ideas and constructive feedback.

Qualifications

Education/Certification and Continued Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in graphic design, visual communication, or related field

Years of Experience

• 2 – 5 years of experience as a UX UI Designer or similar in-house or at an agency

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of typography, iconography, colour, layout and governance of a design system
• Highly proficient working on technologies and software: Figma, iOS, Android, Design Systems,
• Adobe Creative Suite, Jira and other related industry tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.

Languages

• English, Arabic preferred but not essential

Additional Requirements

• Experience working in an E-Commerce environment in fashion retail mandatory, working in localization projects for e-commerce website, preferably luxury fashion retail
