Qualifications

• Senior VAT and Indirect Tax Advisory with substantial UAE market experience.
• Experience leading major UAE VAT engagements and managing senior client relationships.
• Background in business development and practice growth within a leading professional services firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-value UAE VAT and Tax Advisory engagements involving complex structures and operations.
• Provide senior technical advice on VAT treatment, indirect tax exposure, and compliance risk.
• Interpret UAE VAT legislation and FTA guidance, translating regulatory requirements into business recommendations.
• Act as the senior escalation point for difficult VAT positions and sensitive client matters.
• Manage relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors and other executive stakeholders.
• Originate new advisory work through senior relationships, referrals, and targeted business development.
• Oversee engagement planning, staffing, deadlines, documentation, and client communication.
