Qualifications

• Several years of VAT and Indirect Tax Advisory experience.
• Strong exposure to the UAE and Dubai tax market is essential.
• Advanced practical knowledge of UAE VAT and its application across commercial transactions.
• Proven experience leading complex indirect tax engagements with senior client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead sophisticated UAE VAT and Tax Advisory engagements involving complex transactions, operating models, and regulatory considerations.
• Advise clients on VAT treatment, indirect tax risks, transaction structuring, compliance implications, and practical implementation matters.
• Serve as a trusted senior advisor to CFOs, Finance Directors, Tax Heads, and other executive stakeholders.
• Develop the UAE VAT Advisory offering by identifying emerging client needs and new areas of market demand.
• Generate additional business through strategic account development, referrals, market relationships, and targeted prospecting.
• Lead client proposals, pitches, scope discussions, technical presentations, and commercial negotiations.
• Review critical tax advice and client deliverables to maintain technical accuracy, consistency, and practical relevance.
• Direct engagement planning, resource allocation, timelines, team utilization, and delivery priorities.
• Build, coach, and mentor VAT professionals while strengthening technical depth and future leadership capability.
• Track practice revenue, pricing, margins, utilization, pipeline conversion, and profitability.
• Contribute to service-line budgets, growth plans, revenue forecasts, and wider commercial targets.
• Monitor Federal Tax Authority guidance, UAE VAT developments, administrative changes, and relevant GCC tax updates.
• Translate legislative and regulatory developments into actionable guidance for clients and internal teams.
• Maintain appropriate standards for quality review, documentation, risk management, and engagement governance.
